The highest form of discipline in trading: don't rush for speed, only for stability

After years in the trading market, I've seen through one truth:
Most people lose to the market not because of insufficient knowledge, but because they are too eager for results.

Everyone wants to take a shortcut in the short term, wants to turn things around in one go, and wants to catch every single price move.
That's why they chase highs, hold losing positions, trade with heavy leverage, and overtrade.

It seems like they are working hard every day,
But in reality, they are draining their capital and mindset day by day.

The market is fair in one thing:
Greedy people are always harvested, while disciplined and laid-back people are always rewarded.

Many misunderstand trading, thinking that being bold is the key to big profits.
True seasoned players all understand:
Being bold can only win you temporary luck; risk control and patience determine how far you can go.

When the market is good, everyone can profit, and the gap is not visible.
When the market is chaotic, volatile, and shaking out positions, the difference becomes instantly clear.

The logic of a novice:
See profits and get jealous, see price moves and get itchy, lose money and want to add positions to break even.
Always passively following the market, always led by emotions.

The logic of an expert:
Stay out when the picture is unclear, trade only when there is certainty, cut losses immediately when wrong, and take profits in batches.
Don't gamble against the market, only gamble on certainty.

After trading for a long time, you realize:
The fastest way to destroy an account is not a single big crash,
But the collapse accumulated from countless small luck, small regrets, and small greed.

Gradually, I gave up all fantasies of getting rich overnight:
No longer envy others doubling their money in the short term, no longer follow trends blindly, no longer bet against the trend.
Only trade structures I understand, only take profits I can hold.

I no longer pursue trading frequency; I pursue accuracy, risk tolerance, and stability.

And I finally understand:
There are no true masters in the market,
Only those who know how to avoid risks and make fewer mistakes.

Short-term huge profits rely on market conditions,
Long-term compounding relies on human nature.

Those who can stand firm in the market for a long time
Never rely on aggression, but on restraint;
Not on gambling, but on discipline.

Opportunities come every year, but capital does not.
Steady your pace, guard your heart,
Time is your greatest compounding force.
