This short-side momentum has played out. Those few fake breakouts near the $FF high level—looking back, they were all traps designed to get people carried away.

I opened this short around 0.10466. The reason is simple: the price couldn’t push higher, but the pullbacks kept getting more and more decisive. What really made me pay extra attention was that after the key level was ground through, the rebound didn’t even have decent follow-through—its structure was clearly getting weak.

Now we’re at 0.05913, and the short position’s profit is already showing +2095%. The market space has been released fairly smoothly. Many people are still waiting for it to rally back up, but what the order book fears most is hope replacing judgment. Weak is weak—don’t get emotional and argue with the candles.

Protect your profits first—that’s been my habit when trading futures. If your position size is big, take some off first, and then keep the rest defended using the protection level. Otherwise, a single sharp rebound can easily throw off the rhythm.

If you haven’t entered at this spot, don’t chase the dip—wait for a more comfortable entry on the next failed retrace.
