BREAKING: Micron just spent $3 billion making sure it never runs out of silicon.

$500 million of that goes straight into GlobalWafers' new wafer plant in Texas, locked in with a 10 year supply deal. That's Micron buying its own raw material chain at the exact moment memory prices are the tightest they've been in 15 years, per Goldman.
Here's the number that actually matters. Micron's revenue just hit $41.46 billion in a single quarter. A year ago it was $9.3 billion. That's not growth, that's a different company.
Everyone's watching Nvidia for the AI trade. Micron just quietly became the toll booth on the memory supply chain, and it's taxing everyone who wants in.

Silicon? Plenty in sand? Who would lack it?
