According to Forbes, DeFi asset management and risk analysis firm Gauntlet announced the completion of a $125 million funding round, led by Japanese financial giant SBI Holdings. Founded by Tarun Chitra, Gauntlet primarily provides digital asset allocation management and risk control services for institutions and crypto enterprises. With this funding, Gauntlet will leverage SBI Holdings’ resources to further expand its expertise and market coverage in digital asset allocation. In 2022, Gauntlet secured a $24 million Series B funding round led by Ribbit Capital at a $1 billion valuation.
