Shanghai International Port Group announced that by June 2026, it expects to handle 4.99M TEUs of container throughput at its home port, up 6.1% year-on-year; and expects to handle 53.57M tons of cargo throughput, up 3.3% year-on-year. In the first half of 2026, the company expects to have handled a cumulative container throughput of 28.74M TEUs at its home port, up 6.2% year-on-year; and a cumulative cargo throughput of 305 million tons, up 2.7% year-on-year.
