On the morning of July 7, a landslide occurred in Rencang Village, Nanhe Town, Dangchang County, Longnan City, Gansu Province, trapping people. Zhang Chengzhong, Minister of Emergency Management, immediately made arrangements and deployments for rescue and relief efforts, requiring that the number of people trapped be verified as soon as possible, surrounding rescue teams be rapidly mobilized, rescue work be carried out scientifically, and secondary disasters be prevented. The Ministry of Emergency Management has activated a Level IV national emergency response for geological disasters and dispatched a working group to the scene to provide on-site guidance for rescue and disposal. Local fire authorities have dispatched 7 vehicles and 40 personnel to the scene for response. The National Emergency Response Center for Work Safety has instructed the National Work Safety Emergency Rescue Survey Team (2 vehicles, 5 personnel) to bring slope radars to the scene and participate in the rescue. It has also instructed the National Mine Emergency Rescue Sichuan Drainage Team, the Sichuan Coal Team, the Jingyuan Team, and the National Hazardous Chemicals Emergency Rescue Lanzhou Petrochemical Team, for a total of 120 personnel, to assemble and stand by and be ready to dispatch for rescue.
