Recently, affected by Typhoon Maysak, the 10th typhoon of this year, severe rainstorm and flood disasters have occurred in many areas of Guangxi, resulting in casualties and property losses. On July 6, the National Committee for Disaster Prevention, Mitigation and Relief activated a national Level-IV disaster relief emergency response. According to the National Natural Disaster Relief Emergency Plan and the disaster losses in Guangxi, the National Development and Reform Commission urgently allocated 100 million yuan from central budgetary investment to support Guangxi in post-typhoon disaster emergency recovery, focusing on the emergency restoration of damaged roads, water conservancy and other infrastructure, as well as public service facilities such as schools and hospitals in the disaster-stricken areas, in order to restore normal production and living order as soon as possible.
