INTERPOL global anti-fraud operation arrests over 5,800 people, exposes cross-chain money laundering network

Mars Finance News, according to The Block, INTERPOL-led global anti-fraud operations have arrested over 5,800 suspects and successfully uncovered a cryptocurrency money laundering network that used cross-chain token swaps to conceal illicit fund flows. One suspect’s digital wallet processed over $122.5 million in just 10 months. On-chain analysts note that while cross-chain operations increase tracking difficulty, they do not mean fund flows are untraceable, and such cases show that financial crimes continue to evolve alongside blockchain technology.
