Wu says that the Longgang Branch of the Shenzhen Public Security Bureau recently dismantled a major telecom fraud gang specializing in "stock recommendation lead generation" that was entrenched in Bantian Street, Longgang District. All 247 suspects were arrested on the spot, 245 of whom have been criminally detained, and 24.08 million yuan of involved funds were frozen. The gang was led by 11 core members including Huang Mouquan, with sub-groups for telemarketing, business operations, and stock recommendations, operating out of 8 locations. Their modus operandi involved illegally obtaining stock investors' personal information, using the lure of "professional stock recommendations, stable profits" for telephone lead generation, and pulling victims into fake stock recommendation groups to commit fraud. The case is under further investigation.

The call group, business group, and stock recommendation group have a quite detailed division of labor; the industry chain is mature.

Good catch, how many retail investors' hard-earned money have these stock-picking groups cheated?

There are indeed many telecom fraud dens in Bantian, and this time they were all wiped out in one fell swoop.
