Jinse Finance reported, on July 8, according to CCTV, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said on July 7 local time that the European Union, originally an economic bloc, is strengthening its military capabilities and transforming into a group with dual economic and military nature, which is a completely new situation emerging in Europe. Peskov pointed out that this development is extremely important for Russia and may force Russia to take additional measures to ensure national security. Peskov also stressed that Ukraine has been incited by many European countries and believes that it will defeat Russia at the strategic level, which is the biggest mistake in history.
