China Adds 15 Tonnes of Gold to Reserves After Price Dip

The People’s Bank of China added 15 tonnes of gold to its reserves in June after XAU/USD fell below the $4,000 range last month. Krishan Gopaul said the purchase lifted China’s year-to-date net purchases to 41 tonnes. Jerry Prior said China’s gold accumulation mirrors a structural de-dollarization theme.
