$KGEN short position realized this time — my deepest feeling isn't that I made gains, but that I waited. The most grinding part of the chart is that it's clearly weak, yet it never gives a clean drop, and many people get worn down in that back-and-forth.

I had already noticed the resistance at the top of KGEN, especially since several upward attempts failed to hold, indicating the upside wasn't easy. The key was that the subsequent pullbacks became shorter and shorter, and the support started to weaken. That's when I opened a long near 0.20275, without rushing in prematurely.

After that, the price dropped from 0.20275 to 0.165, and this trade returned +896.65%. To be honest, I did think about whether to exit midway, but seeing the bounce lacked momentum, I chose to keep my stop-loss in place and let the profits run a bit further.

A counterintuitive aspect of trading is that the moment when it looks most like a breakout is often the easiest time to trap people. For now, no new shorts — just manage the current position, and wait for the next clear opportunity.
