Deep Tide TechFlow news, according to Chaoxiang Research, Goldman Sachs on July 8 cited IDC data showing that 2Q26 PC shipments reached 68.2 million units, down 4.9% year-over-year, the first decline after nine consecutive quarters of positive growth, mainly due to storage/memory component shortages and high ASPs suppressing demand. The top five vendors showed significant divergence: Apple +10% (share 9.9%), ASUS +0.2% (7.4%), Lenovo -2% (24.4%), Dell -5% (13.6%), HP -9% (19.1%). Goldman Sachs expects supply tightness to continue into early 2028, with 2H26 shipments potentially declining further. Large players continue to take share from smaller ones through supply chain management capabilities, and industry concentration will keep rising.
