This short position has finally paid off. When $ICP came down from the high, the chart was very straightforward. Many were still looking for a bounce at that time, but I wasn't focused on whether it would rise—I saw that the support above was already weakening.

After opening short near 3.027, what really confirmed my thesis was that each rebound was weaker than the last. It couldn't break higher and sold off on volume, indicating the bulls couldn't hold any longer. Now the price has reached 2.242, and this short position's floating profit has hit +1250.48%. The market moved decisively.

I won't be greedy for the last bite here. An 80/20 approach feels better—take some profit first, then move the stop to protect the rest while letting it run. In futures trading, the biggest danger is getting carried away after making money. You might have the rhythm, but one bounce can wipe it all out.

The key to holding this trade wasn't guessing the direction—it was not chasing longs after resistance at the highs. If you're not in, don't force it. Chasing shorts here isn't comfortable either. Wait for the next bounce for a better entry.
