Tencent Cloud Launches Agent Bucket, Introduces Native Storage Solution for Massive-Scale Agents

Deep Wave TechFlow News, July 9 — According to official sources, Tencent Cloud has officially launched Agent Bucket, providing independent cloud storage space for mass Agents, used to centrally store user-uploaded materials and files such as reports, images, and code generated by Agents. By introducing a separate Space unit within the Bucket, the product enables fine-grained isolation and management of access credentials, capacity quotas, read/write speed limits, etc., at the individual Agent or user level.

In terms of capabilities, Agent Bucket is compatible with the standard S3 interface and offers features such as deduplication upon upload, POSIX file system semantics, multimodal retrieval, external link sharing, recycle bin, and content review, reducing the complexity for developers to build their own file management systems. In terms of performance, it combines GooseFS data acceleration with hot/cold tiered storage strategies to improve response efficiency in high-concurrency, small-file access scenarios while balancing storage costs. Currently, the solution has been applied to Tencent's own Agent products, as well as scenarios like AI PCs and intelligent vehicle cloud storage.
