Maple releases MIP-021 proposal: plans to launch a rule-based buyback mechanism tied to revenue.

Jinse Finance reports, on July 9, the on-chain lending protocol Maple released governance proposal MIP-021, proposing a revenue-linked rule-based repurchase mechanism. The proposal includes using 10% of revenue to repurchase SYRUP when monthly revenue is below $1.5 million; using 20% of revenue when monthly revenue is between $1.5 million and $2 million; and using 30% of revenue when monthly revenue exceeds $2 million. All repurchase operations will be open and transparent and decided through governance voting. The proposal is currently in the feedback stage, with voting set to open on July 13.
