Pork prices fall back to the 10-yuan era

Pig prices are experiencing a short-term strong rebound. According to data from China Pig Farming Network, the national average price of foreign ternary live pigs rose from 9.47 yuan/kg on June 26 to 11.06 yuan/kg on July 6, climbing continuously over the past 10 days, with a cumulative increase of 1.59 yuan/kg, an increase of about 16.8%. This means that pig prices, which had been hovering at low levels below 10 yuan/kg for a long time, have returned above the 10 yuan mark after four months. (Yicai)
