The military situation between the US and Iran in the Strait of Hormuz is extremely tense these days. The two sides have been trading blows nonstop, and reading the news is giving me a headache.

Here’s a quick summary of the key points for everyone:

🔹The US calls it quits: President Trump bluntly declared the end of the peace agreement with Iran at the NATO summit. He said outright that negotiating with them is a waste of time because they can’t be trusted.
🔹This morning, the US launched airstrikes first, and Iran retaliated by attacking several US military targets in Bahrain and Kuwait.
🔹The US didn’t back down either, striking back at more than 80 Iranian military targets, while also imposing an oil embargo on Iran following a series of attacks on ships.
🔹Tensions continue: Trump also warned that "very likely" tonight the US will carry out another round of airstrikes. Not to mention, the US is considering blockading the Strait of Hormuz—but targeting Iran alone.
🔹Immediate consequences are visible: Because of the intense fighting, no one dares to send ships through. Normally, up to 32 ships pass through every day, but today Kpler data reported only 4 vessels dared to cross the strait.

That’s the situation as it stands, folks. I’m just telling it like it is, no additions or omissions. If both sides keep up this tension, the global economy and oil markets are surely in for even more violent upheaval ahead.
