The American Depositary Receipts (ADR) issued by South Korea's SK Hynix in the U.S. have been oversubscribed by more than seven times, with subscription demand coming from various types of institutions including global long-term funds, technology sector-specific funds, sovereign wealth funds, and Asia-themed global investors. The offering size is approximately $24.5 billion, which will become the second largest transaction ever by a foreign company listed in the U.S., second only to the $25 billion record set by Alibaba in 2014.
