On July 8, Yin Yong, Deputy Secretary of the Beijing Municipal Committee and Mayor, conducted a research visit in Chaoyang District centered on accelerating the construction of a global benchmark city for the digital economy. He emphasized the need to seize new tracks in future industries, continuously gather high-precision, cutting-edge innovation entities, strengthen underlying technologies, expand application scenarios, and steadily cultivate and expand new quality productive forces, so as to improve the quality and efficiency of building a global benchmark city for the digital economy and inject strong momentum into the high-quality development of the capital.

During the research, Yin Yong stressed that the industry collaborative innovation ecosystem should be improved, with a focus on key fields. The role of innovation platforms should be leveraged to encourage leading enterprises to collaborate with upstream and downstream small and medium-sized enterprises, universities, and research institutes to form innovation consortia, deepen industry-university-research collaborative tackling of key problems, and concentrate efforts on solving technical challenges. Beijing's rich scenario resources should be fully released to promote the demonstration and application of frontier technologies such as artificial intelligence and quantum computing in vertical domains, using scenarios to drive technological iteration and empower industrial growth. Relevant municipal departments and districts should improve the full-chain support system from basic research, pilot production, and mass production to commercial deployment, strengthen the supply of funding, talent, and other factors, and implement targeted policies to address enterprises' needs regarding financing and listing, technology transfer, scenario implementation, and ecosystem building, thereby helping enterprises grow larger and stronger.
