Wu Says learned that Europol announced a joint operation against child sexual abuse crimes. Led by Norway, law enforcement agencies from seven countries, including Canada, the Czech Republic, Germany, Poland, Sweden, and Switzerland, carried out the operation from late May 2026 to mid-June 2026. A total of 28 suspects were arrested, 3 children were protected, and more than 460 items were seized, including electronic devices, cryptocurrency wallets, drugs, and large quantities of stimulants.

Investigators believe the suspects used cryptocurrency to pay for access fees to dark web forums, in order to download or view child sexual abuse material (CSAM). A cryptocurrency transaction tracking method developed by Norwegian law enforcement in 2025 helped identify the relevant paying individuals in this operation, and further pinpointed two child sexual abuse material sellers. The operation is still ongoing, and more arrests are expected.
