Learn to handle anyone

1. When dealing with argumentative people, don't get into a debate—just go along with them and they'll lose interest.
2. When dealing with short-tempered people, don't confront them head-on; stroke them the right way and communicate after they've calmed down.
3. When chatting with gossips, feed them some trivial tidbits to extract more useful information.
4. When dealing with pretentious colleagues, go along with them at times, but don't hesitate to call them out when it counts.
5. When faced with people who like taking advantage, occasionally throw them small favors to get them to work for you.
6. When dealing with suspicious people, only reveal seven-tenths of the truth, keeping three-tenths as mystery.
7. When dealing with a controlling boss, take the initiative to report your progress to satisfy their need for control.
8. When dealing with workplace veterans, use benefits as bait instead of appealing to idealism, and they'll be willing to cooperate.
