Golden Finance reported that on July 9, local time on the evening of the 8th, the Pakistani Foreign Ministry issued a statement expressing concern over the current escalation of tensions between the US and Iran, and pointed out that a renewed escalation of conflict is not in the interest of any party. Pakistan called on all parties to exercise restraint and avoid any actions that could further undermine regional peace and stability. The Pakistani side emphasized that there is no alternative to the common goal of achieving regional peace other than sustained diplomatic engagement and dialogue. Pakistan urged all parties to earnestly fulfill the commitments made under the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding. The Pakistani side stated that this Memorandum of Understanding remains a lasting foundation for promoting mutual understanding, mutual respect, and common prosperity in the region and beyond.
