$ACT this trade took me a while to wait. To be honest, the most uncomfortable part during the session wasn’t the direction being wrong, but that you could clearly see it was weak, yet it still dragged on for ages, making you want to give up early.

ACT repeatedly failed to break higher around the 0.01151 area. I didn’t see it as a strong consolidation at the time; instead, I felt the selling pressure above had never left. Many people overlook this detail – the more it looks like it’s about to break out, the more likely it is to drain the longs.

Later, the price kept dropping all the way to 0.0088. This short trade yielded +577.36%, which was a reward for patience. There were also pullbacks in between, but I didn’t add any drama – I just watched to see if it could reclaim a key zone. If it couldn’t get back, I continued to hold.

Now the handling is simple: trail the stop to protect profits, don’t let profits turn into emotions. Don’t chase if there’s a new acceleration missed. The next opportunity will come again. What an account fears most is making a big win and then giving it all back.
