The masters study human nature.

1. Never flaunt your wealth; otherwise you’ll either be asked to borrow money—or end up being set up and schemed against.
2. When borrowing money, you never say “I’m poor.” You only say your funds are temporarily tied up and can’t be converted into cash for now because of investments!
3. The person who makes you feel embarrassed is 100% someone who looks down on you—not because they’re low on emotional intelligence.
4. Those who dislike you for being poor are outsiders; those who fear you getting rich are acquaintances. Don’t believe in anything like family ties or friendship—without money, everyone turns out to be heartless.
5. Once you’ve seen through human nature, you realize relatives are really just like that: whether you’re rich or poor results in two different attitudes.
6. Pretend to be wealthy in front of strangers—you’ll be respected and given better social standing. Complain you’re poor in front of acquaintances—you won’t be envied or plotted against.
7. If you want to get along well with the people around you, never share with them the joy and happiness of your success.
8. When people leave, the tea turns cold—that’s just the natural rule; when people haven’t left and the tea is already cold, that’s the world’s indifference, the coldness of human affairs.
