Two women fought in Wah Fu Estate; female victim suffered head injury, sent to hospital, died.
A murder case occurred at Wah Fu Estate in Aberdeen. Two women were fighting on Wednesday evening. One of them, a 53-year-old woman, fell unconscious and died after being rushed to the hospital. Police are investigating the case as murder.
The incident happened at around 10:30 PM. Police received a report that two women were fighting at a minibus stop outside Wah Chui House. When officers arrived, they found one woman lying unconscious on the ground with a head injury. She was taken by ambulance to Queen Mary Hospital for emergency treatment but was pronounced dead at 11:22 PM.
The case was reclassified from "fighting in a public place" to "murder" and handed over to the Western District Regional Crime Unit for follow-up.
Sources said that after investigation, police arrested a 50-year-old woman in Aberdeen. The arrested woman is currently being detained for investigation.
