You cannot out-market a bad product.


While you may have temporary success burning cash left and right, if you’re building on a bad product, you'll eventually run out of dry powder and end up with no choice but to sunset.
For me, and hopefully most serious builders, it starts with a solid product.
I believe marketing is important in a product's journey, but it is secondary and can only effectively market a good product.
- You can sell the product easier
- You can be more pragmatic
- You can be more confident
- You can plan much further ahead
- You can have a clearer vision
- Most importantly, you can retain more users, which is crucial when launching anything.
Please don’t think I’m not here to support the chain or Cryptocom from the bottom of my heart. I’ve been here and have been a painfully vocal member of the community, but I feel the biggest mistake I made as an ambassador in the past few years was not highlighting obvious problems with product quality and often turning a blind eye to visible product related issues, afterall we are in web3 where everything start glitchy.
I don’t just offer criticism; I’m always happy to provide solutions and assist in achieving them.
Of course, I’m not doing this out of charity. I'm working for my bags and to improve my family's financial future.
I believe Cronos now has the best chance to succeed, but we really need to address the issues on all fronts. Both Cronos and CDC. Those holes need to be filled, and dot the i's and cross the t's.
We can't have our ship leaking in five different places while trying to row forward, which we had been doing.
