In China, due to the country’s long-term commitment to its food security strategy and poverty alleviation initiatives, absolute poverty and hunger issues have largely been eliminated. At present, China has a well-established social security system and food reserve mechanisms, which can ensure the basic living needs of the vast majority of the population.
