Zhipu has raised funds again, this time via a placing.

Zhipu has just completed a round of H-share placing, issuing 19.8 million shares at a placing price of HK$1,588–1,698 per share, raising approximately HK$31.4–33.6 billion.

What does that mean?

It represents about 4.25% of the enlarged total share capital.

For comparison, during its IPO: it issued 37.42 million shares at an issue price of HK$116.2 per share, raising approximately HK$4.3 billion.

This placing has raised more than seven times the IPO amount, and the price is more than ten times the IPO price.
