Wu Says reports that France's MiCA-licensed Bitcoin exchange Bull Bitcoin has announced it has filed a lawsuit with the French Council of State, seeking to revoke the relevant decree implementing the EU DAC8 crypto tax reporting system in France. The company said DAC8 requires crypto service providers to collect and share user identity and transaction data with tax authorities, which may pose privacy and security risks. The EU DAC8 officially took effect on January 1, 2026.
