For ordinary people, there aren't that many ways to get rich.



Either you gamble on individual stocks and get lucky once, turning your fortune around through sheer luck.

Or you land a high-income job and steadily buy U.S. stock index funds over the long term, getting rich slowly.

Or you start your own business and build a genuinely profitable company.

Beyond that, most so-called "shortcuts to riches" end up using you as a tool for someone else's wealth.
