This short position finally delivered. When $LAB didn’t keep pushing higher from that high, I knew something was off. Many people were still waiting for a breakout, but the price slid all the way from 4.25647 down to 2.05039. The floating profit on the short is already +1019.92%, and the market’s room was released quite decisively.

What really got my attention was that there was continuous volume above, but the price still didn’t rise. The buy-side looked fierce, but it couldn’t push it higher—that was the key here. I had already noticed this level earlier. After the signal came out, I didn’t rush to flip the position. Instead, I followed the pressure/congestion structure to take the downside leg.

Now that the profit is out, don’t be scared by a single pullback. And don’t fantasize about catching the full move every time. My handling is still the same old rules: 80/20 in batches. Take some profits first, and keep the rest with a protected level, continuing to watch for extension. For brothers with larger positions, you especially need to hold your hand back—too much profit retracement really harms the rhythm.

This move wasn’t based on guessing—the order book and chart itself gave the answer. If you didn’t catch it, don’t chase the short. Wait for the next opportunity, and move only when you get a more comfortable level.
