The crypto world is sometimes strange; the more you want to make quick money, the easier it is to lose it fast.
When I first started trading, I was like many others—staring at K-lines all day, looking at various indicators, researching news, afraid of missing the next opportunity.
As it turned out, the more I looked at, the more chaotic my trading became.
One moment I thought it would go up, the next I thought it would go down; seeing others make money made me want to chase, and after buying in I started doubting myself. In the end, my account wasn’t defeated by the market, but was consumed by my own actions$BTC .
Later I gradually came to understand a truth: trading isn’t about knowing more and making more money, but about being able to stick to simple rules.
Now when I trade, I don’t try to guess the top and bottom every day, nor do I try to catch every single K-line.
More often I just wait—wait for the trend to become clear, wait for the capital direction to emerge, wait for the opportunity that belongs to me to appear.
When the market panics, I don’t rush to cut losses; when the market goes crazy, I don’t chase highs because of emotional impulses.
Many people lose money precisely because they do the opposite: they only think an opportunity has come after a big rally, and start panicking after a small dip, finally making decisions at the wrong positions.
Truly stable people don’t rely on predicting correctly every time; they rely on losing little when wrong and holding on when right.
Over the years, I’ve come to feel more and more that trading isn’t actually that complicated.
Controlling position size, not chasing blindly, not overtrading, entering and exiting with a plan—these are more important than studying a bunch of flashy stuff.
The crypto world never lacks opportunities; what it lacks are people who can wait for them.
Making money doesn’t come from getting rich overnight, but from accumulating small advantages one after another.
The simpler the method, the easier it is to execute; the more persistently you can execute it, the longer you can survive in this market.
