I used to argue that "Money doesn't buy happiness" is a psyop statement by the rich.

But I have come to realise that, this statement doesn't glorify poverty or advocate against making money.
It actually tries to get rid of the capitalist conditioning that says "Money is necessary for happiness".
What that conditioning does is that it stops you from being happy at all if you don't have money, you reject any sort of enjoyment because the back of your brain keeps saying "how can you enjoy it while you have no money?".
Yes money does have a huge impact, it takes away a lot of stress, gives peace and freedom (we all know it).
But just because you don't have it, don't reject every opportunity of being happy till you get it.
Enjoy the things that you can, not every hobby needs to be monetized.
So the concept is "Don't reject free chances of being happy because you don't have money".
The ironic part is the only people who will understand this are the ones who are secure about money (not rich but just secure).
You can be amazing looking and have body dysmorphia.
You can be rich and be insecure about money.
Mostly the people who are broke or got into money without actually working for it.
How do I know it?
I was and still am to an extent.
Retrospective analysis at work.
