I never expected that Li Ka-shing and his wife were actually cousins.


I later looked it up. In Hong Kong society at that time, marriage between cousins was legally allowed.
Their two sons both grew up healthy. It turns out that in medicine, marriage between cousins only slightly increases the probability of some genetic diseases.
What an eye-opener!
