Iran Condemns US for Violating Memorandum of Understanding, Warns of Necessary Action

Jinse Finance reports, July 8, Iran's Foreign Ministry issued a statement early on the 8th, condemning the US for canceling its temporary measure suspending sanctions on Iranian oil sales, calling it a blatant violation of the Iran-US Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding, and warning that it will take necessary action in response.
The statement pointed out that the US move blatantly violates Article 10 of the Iran-US Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding, and the US should bear responsibility for the relevant consequences.
The statement also said that the US and Iran had just recently signed the memorandum of understanding, and the US immediately announced the cancellation of its general license issued on June 21 authorizing Iranian oil sales, once again demonstrating that the US government is untrustworthy.
The statement also accused the US of repeatedly "directly violating or violating through Israel's actions in Lebanon" the relevant provisions of the memorandum.
The statement said that since signing the memorandum on June 18, Iran has been making good faith efforts to fulfill its commitments.
But the US not only violated its commitments but also made excuses.
The statement warned that Iran will take actions it deems necessary to safeguard its own interests and national security.
