This short position finally paid off. $INJ dropped from the high, and the pace was even cleaner than expected.

I entered this short near 5.542. What really caught my attention was the lack of volume on the upward moves — each time it pushed up, it got sold down immediately, and the price couldn't hold near key levels. Many were still waiting for another rally, but I felt something was off. The high-level resistance wasn't just talk; the chart feedback was very direct.

Now the price is at 4.678, and my position profit is +750.78%. After the move has played out, the most important thing is not excitement — it's managing the position.

My approach is to handle it in an 80/20 split — lock in part first, and protect the rest with a trailing stop so profits don't get swallowed by a single pullback. The biggest danger when shorting is greed, especially right after a drop like this — a rebound can come at any time to shake people out.

If you're not in this trade, don't rush. Don't chase, and don't force a short just because you see it falling. Wait for the next opportunity — move when the entry is more comfortable.
