Korea Southern Power announced on the 8th that it will operate a "Safety Awareness Improvement Emphasis Month" for all employees, including partner company workers, for the month of July.

During the Emphasis Month, Korea Southern Power will implement a large number of field-oriented programs. To consolidate company-wide safety capabilities, education, participation, and communication have been set as three key pillars.

Major programs include ▲Safety awareness improvement idea contest ▲Customized field safety awareness improvement training ▲Emotional safety training ▲On-site safety communication campaign ▲Worker safety pledge meeting, etc.

Concentrated preventive activities to practically prevent accidents will also be carried out simultaneously. Essential measures for high-altitude work will be strictly enforced, and risk awareness confirmation interviews will be conducted with workers to maintain a sense of vigilance at the worksite. The system for rewarding the reporting of risk factors will also be activated to tighten the monitoring system.

A notable aspect is the serial column on "Safety Humanities." Published weekly through the company intranet and bulletin boards, this column approaches safety not as a simple regulation but as a value of respect for life. The content is shared with the headquarters, business sites, as well as overseas offices and partner companies, helping to instill safety as a daily culture.

Through this campaign, Korea Southern Power plans to bridge the safety gap with partner companies and build a solid safety community.

Acting CEO of Korea Southern Power, Jo Young-hyuk, stated, "Safety begins not only with systems and facilities but also with the careful attention and active practice of all members," and added, "We will continue to expand participatory safety culture activities to establish a voluntary safety culture together with partner companies and do our utmost to achieve zero safety accidents at the worksite."
