HanmiGlobal, a construction project management (PM) specialist, launched a large-scale social contribution campaign at its global workplaces to mark its 30th anniversary.

HanmiGlobal announced on the 8th that it held a 'Global Volunteer Day' in partnership with the social welfare corporation 'Warm Companionship', involving overseas subsidiaries and field employees in the US, Japan, China, Vietnam, and other countries. The campaign was conducted in a demand-driven manner, reflecting the regional characteristics and needs of each country, with employees directly planning and executing volunteer programs.

At a construction site in Indiana, USA, in cooperation with the international non-profit organization Habitat, housing repair and renovation activities were carried out for vulnerable groups. While helping to improve the quality of life by upgrading aging residential environments, employees from the Japanese subsidiary visited local senior housing and operated cultural exchange programs, building emotional bonds with the elderly.

Local-focused activities continued in China and Vietnam. The Chinese subsidiary undertook environmental improvements such as painting aging walls at welfare facilities, while a joint team from the Vietnamese subsidiary visited a rehabilitation center for the disabled, providing daily necessities and engaging in sports activities with disabled children. Notably, field employees from the new Jinro Soju factory in Vietnam visited SOS Children's Villages, delivering school supplies and conducting facility maintenance, sharing warmth.

This campaign was not led by headquarters but was carried out through the autonomous participation of overseas subsidiaries and project site members.

A HanmiGlobal official emphasized the significance of overseas subsidiaries and field employees simultaneously conducting social contribution activities with one heart to mark the 30th anniversary, and stated that the company plans to continue expanding social contribution activities that reflect the characteristics of overseas sites in cooperation with Warm Companionship, thereby strengthening global ESG management.
