Deep Tide TechFlow News, July 8, according to Cointelegraph, Vanguard is hiring a Digital Assets Lead to develop strategies for tokenization, stablecoins, blockchain infrastructure, and client digital asset products, evaluate custody models and blockchain settlement solutions, and represent the company in communications with regulators, clients, and industry groups.

This move marks a significant shift for the asset management firm. Vanguard manages approximately $12.5 trillion in global assets. Its CEO, Salim Ramji, stated in August 2024 that the company would not "copy competitors" by launching cryptocurrency ETFs. The current market size for tokenized real-world assets has reached $33.5 billion, with institutions such as Franklin Templeton and BlackRock accelerating their deployments in this space.
