Shenchao TechFlow news, July 8 - According to Reuters citing The Information, SpaceXAI and Cursor plan to release their first jointly developed AI model as early as Wednesday.

The model was originally scheduled to launch earlier this week but was postponed due to optimization efficiency.
The report notes that the new model is expected to have strong rapid information processing capabilities, with some performance potentially competing with Anthropic's Opus 4.8 and OpenAI's GPT 5.5.
Previously, SpaceX announced in June the acquisition of Cursor's parent company Anysphere in an all-stock deal valued at $60 billion, to strengthen its foothold in the AI tools market.
