Affected by this year’s 10th typhoon, Typhoon “Maysak,” from 8:00 on the 4th to 11:00 on the 6th, most areas of Nanning experienced heavy to extremely heavy rainfall, and in some areas there were exceptionally heavy downpours, causing a rapid rise in water levels in some rivers and streams. At 11:30, the Nanning Emergency Management Committee upgraded Nanning’s flood control Level III emergency response to Level I. According to meteorological forecasts, the rainfall intensity over the Liuwang Reservoir and Liulan Reservoir will weaken.
