Deep Tide TechFlow news. On July 8, according to Cointelegraph, Nigel Farage, leader of Reform UK, is currently facing two investigations by the UK Parliamentary Standards Commissioner over accepting millions of dollars in “gifts” from cryptocurrency billionaire Christopher Harborne and George Cottrell, who is associated with a crypto casino. The Commissioner announced that Farage would resign as an MP for the Clacton constituency.

In a live stream on the X platform, Farage said he “has not broken any law,” and described the gifts as “unconditional,” to be used for security spending. He said he will stand in the by-election triggered by this, and that the voters of Clacton will decide whether he continues to serve as an MP. Farage was elected in this constituency in July 2024 with 46.2% of the vote.
