Have ice cream sales crashed this year? The convenience store owner downstairs says they can't sell any at all. I haven't bought any for a long time either. Ever since the prices went up, I feel that the value for money of ice cream from the freezer keeps getting lower.
Previously, Qiaolezi was 2.5 yuan, Green Mood was 1.5 yuan, and Little Pudding was 50 cents. It felt like they still offered value for money. Now the prices have basically doubled. For under 5 yuan, you can only get off-brand ones with a strong artificial flavor, which feels like very poor value for money.
Anyway, now if I want to save money, I'll go eat Mixue's 2-yuan cone or 6-yuan sundae. If I want flavor, I'll go eat something like Bobbi Ice or Dairy Queen. If I have to spend 5 to 10 yuan on an ice cream from the freezer, I really don't think it's worth it.
