China Biopharmaceutical announced that it has licensed the overseas rights of its self-developed innovative drug for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), TQC3721 (a PDE3/4 inhibitor), to AstraZeneca in total up to $1.9 billion. This is the second major BD transaction China Biopharmaceutical has seen this year.
