CoinWorld News, Amazon has launched a USD bond issuance plan of at least $25 billion, consisting of 1 floating-rate bond and 7 fixed-rate bonds, with maturities ranging from 3 to 40 years.
According to market final pricing information, due to peak subscription orders reaching approximately $62 billion, the final bond issuance spread has narrowed significantly compared to the initial guidance.
Amazon has raised approximately $64 billion cumulatively in the bond markets of the US, Europe, and Canada this year. If this issuance is included, its total bond issuance in 2026 will approach $90 billion. Amazon expects its capital expenditure in 2026 to be as high as $200 billion, with most of the funds to be used by AWS to purchase chips, servers, and expand data centers.
