This short position has finally played out. That kind of stubborn holding at the $BTC high was actually abnormal from the start.

Many people are still watching for a rebound, but at the time I was more focused on the speed of the decline after resistance above. The price dropped from 76861.4 all the way to 63600.3. That's the real answer the market gave.

I had already noticed this level earlier, but what really made me decide was that several upward attempts lacked volume. When it pushed up, no one was buying, and the decline became smoother instead.

Simply put, the structure has clearly changed. It's not just a simple oscillation.

Now this short position has an unrealized profit of +2998.63%, and the market space has been released quite decisively.

For those with heavy positions, I think an 80/20 partial profit-taking approach is more comfortable. Lock in most of the profit first, and let the remaining small position ride with a stop-loss for the extension. Don't let the profit in hand be eaten up by a single pullback.

If you haven't gotten in yet, don't chase the short. Chasing in can easily get you washed out by a pullback.

Wait for a more comfortable entry next time, and see if BTC has a new rhythm.
