Jinse Finance reported that on July 8, the three major U.S. stock indexes collectively closed lower, with the Dow down 0.25%, the Nasdaq down 1.16%, and the S&P 500 down 0.45%. The semiconductor and storage sectors fell sharply, with the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index plunging 4.65%, Intel falling over 9%, and Micron Technology falling over 4%.
