Honestly, I hesitated at some point during this $CL trade too. When the long first went in, CL didn’t give strong feedback right away—it just kept grinding back and forth around 70.08, and a lot of people would not be able to stand it. Later, when it pushed to 72.44 and the feedback reached +313.26%, that’s when the waiting finally turned into results.

The real change happened at the end of the sideways range: the selling pressure got lighter and lighter, and pullbacks no longer went deep. This is the market’s most “anti-human” part—when things feel comfortable, it’s not necessarily safe; the positions that feel uncomfortable are often the ones that create opportunities.

After reviewing this trade, I think what I got right wasn’t calling the direction correctly—it was not changing my mind amid the chop. Handling it now is simple: first keep the rhythm you’ve already secured, don’t chase the trade or add drama, and wait for it to take the next clear move.
