A few days ago, this $HYPE move was quite interesting. At first, it wasn't strong, even a bit grinding. But when I stared at HYPE, I noticed that during the pullback, no one was willing to continue dumping, instead there were buyers at lower levels. After going long, it grinded from 65.936 to 70.28, and now it's returned +465.97%.
What really made me hold on was not that bullish candle, but that the rhythm wasn't broken during the pullback. Many people lose in trading because they are too eager to see results immediately. They run at the first shake, and chase at the first pull. I've encountered this kind of market before; it really tests patience.
This wave of profit has already been realized. I care more about not letting the retracement disrupt me. If there's more room to move, I'll follow along; if not, there's no need to force it. In short-term trading, the worst thing is turning a winning trade into an emotional one.
